We are thrilled to announce that our grand opening at We Love Collectibles‘ new location in Margate was an overwhelming success! On 14th September, we opened the doors to our shiny new shop at Unit 101, Westwood Business Park, Margate CT9 4JJ, and the turnout exceeded all expectations.
A huge thank you to everyone who came down and supported us! From early risers queuing before our official 10 a.m. start to the steady stream of customers throughout the day, it was wonderful to see familiar faces and welcome new ones into our community. We are incredibly grateful for the support from our loyal customers and the enthusiasm shown by all. It’s because of you that our opening day was so special.

Stellar Crown Launch & Giveaway!
Our opening day also featured the exciting launch of the Stellar Crown set! We saw plenty of big pulls throughout the day and hosted a giveaway of a Stellar Crown ETB for anyone who found one of the five SAR (Special Illustration Rares) in-store, or the Hyper Rare Cards.
But don’t worry if you missed out – we still have plenty of Stellar Crown stock left, including ETBs, boosters, and booster boxes. However, it’s going fast, so grab yours while you can!
Young Pokémon TCG Champion Visits Grand Opening
We also had the privilege to welcome young Harrison Holden-Smith to our grand opening.
For those that don’t know – Harrison is a local Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) champion. He secured his place at the 2024 Pokémon World Championships – which took place recently in Hawai‘i in August 2024. While he didn’t win this year, we hope to see him move on to the master category in years to come.
With all this new space, we’ll definitely be welcoming more games and tournaments within our shop, and perhaps Harrison can school us on how to be a master at the Pokémon TCG.
