Why it’s Special: This card is highly sought after due to its stunning artwork – it’s been the jewel of the recent Pokémon TCG set Surging Sparks. Key Features/Abilities/Attacks: Greninja ex offers strategic versatility with its “Shinobi Blade” attack, allowing you to search your deck for any card. The “Mirage Barrage” attack deals 120 damage to two of your opponent’s Pokémon, bypassing Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.
Why it’s Special: This Greninja ex from Twilight Masquerade is a valuable addition to any collection due to its striking artwork. Also, Greninja has always remained a fan-favorite Pokémon, consistently ranking high in popularity polls. The high sales volume for this card (about 2 sales per day for ungraded copies and 2 sales per day for PSA 10 graded copies – according to price charting) indicates strong and consistent demand. Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX – Battle Styles – 170/163 (£60.00):

Key Features/Abilities/Attacks: Unleash a flurry of blows with Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX. “Gale Thrust” delivers 30 damage, plus an extra 120 if Urshifu moved from the Bench to the Active Spot this turn. The devastating “G-Max Rapid Flow” hits two of your opponent’s Pokémon for 120 damage each.
Why it’s Special: A powerful and popular VMAX card from the Battle Styles set, this card is a must-have for competitive players and collectors alike. As of January 2025, Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX has regained relevance. It performs well against Arceus VSTAR decks, which have seen a resurgence. Some of its previously bad matchups, like Chien-Pao ex / Baxcalibur and Lugia VSTAR, are less common in the current Meta.

Key Features/Abilities/Attacks: Roaring Moon ex brings aggressive play with “Frenzied Gouging,” which Knocks Out the opponent’s Active Pokémon (but deals 200 damage to itself). “Calamity Storm” does 100 damage, with the option to discard a Stadium for an extra 120.
Why it’s Special: Another popular special illustration rare featured within the Scarlet & Violet Paradox Rift set. Any Pokémon card that features a scene of other Pokémon is always going to be a big hit with fans. It’s one of the most difficult cards to pull from packs in the set, and at £50.00 it’s quite a steal for card that is increasing in price on average.
