Coming soon to WLC online-store is the highly anticipated Battle Partners booster box! Currently available in-store for £95.00, this latest Japanese set is already making waves among collectors and players alike. Stay tuned for its online release – although, we only have a limited amount as of this moment, so grab them while you can in-store.
Battle Partners: A Closer Look
The Battle Partners set, released in Japan on January 24, 2025, is the ninth expansion in the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet series. This highly anticipated set introduces the return of the Trainer’s Pokémon mechanic (previously known as Owner’s Pokémon), which first debuted in the Gym Heroes expansion back in 2000. The theme of this set celebrates the bonds between iconic trainers and their partner Pokémon, offering stunning artwork and powerful cards for both collectors and competitive players.
Trainer-Pokémon Partner Cards
Within Battle Partners, trainers from the anime and games are featured like N, Lillie, Hop, and Iono alongside their signature Pokémon; Reshiram, Clefairy, Zacian, and Bellibolt – for example.
Rarities
The set includes 12 Art Rares (AR), 11 Super Rares (SR), 6 Special Art Rares (SAR), and 3 Ultra Rares (UR). Each booster box guarantees at least 1 SR or better.
Chase Cards
- Lillie’s Clefairy ex (Special Art Rare):A fan-favorite card featuring Lillie and Clefairy in a beautiful flower field. This card is already one of the most valuable in the set.

English Release

The English version of Battle Partners will be included in the upcoming Journey Together set, scheduled for release on March 28, 2025. Some cards may also appear as promos in Elite Trainer Boxes or other special products.
